Every platform recommends different image sizes: an Instagram post is a 1080×1080 square and a story is a 1080×1920 portrait; a Facebook cover photo size is about 820×312 and a shared post image is 1200×630; a YouTube thumbnail size is 1280×720; a Twitter/X header is 1500×500; a LinkedIn cover is 1584×396; and a Pinterest Pin prefers a 1000×1500 portrait. Which social media aspect ratios are supported?
Presets cover Instagram posts (1080x1080, 1:1) and stories (1080x1920, 9:16), Facebook covers and posts, YouTube thumbnails (16:9), the Twitter/X header (3:1), the LinkedIn cover (4:1) and Pinterest pins (2:3). Any other size can be entered as custom pixel dimensions.
Does this include Instagram Reels and TikTok sizes?
Yes — Reels and TikTok both use 1080x1920 at 9:16, the same as the Instagram Story preset, so pick that one. The preview shows exactly what will be cropped, so you can position the subject before downloading.
Is my image uploaded to any server?
No. All cropping happens inside your browser with Canvas, so the source image never leaves your device. Useful when the photo is a screenshot with personal information, or a design mock you don't want to leak.
Can I crop for multiple platforms at once?
The current flow is one crop per download. For posting the same photo across Instagram, TikTok, X and LinkedIn, run through the presets one at a time — each takes a few seconds because there is no upload roundtrip.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. Drag-to-position the crop area works on touch as well as mouse, so cropping for a Story or Reel on the phone that shot the photo is the most direct path.
Can I use a custom aspect ratio?
Yes. Switch to custom and enter the width and height in pixels; the crop overlay updates immediately. Useful for banner ads, blog hero images, or platforms whose ratios aren't in the presets.
